Thank you for your interest in Leaders in Education, Inc., the charter holder for Young Learners School. The school’s area of specialization is Early Childhood Education.

Requirements

In order to apply for a teaching position with our organization, you must meet one of the following requirements:

  1. You are a certified teacher
        OR
  2. You are enrolled in an ACP program and have passed the content component of your certification specialization:
    • - Regular Teachers  TExES Test 101 Generalist EC-4
    • - Bilingual Teachers TExES Test 103  Bilingual Generalist EC-4
    •   OR
        TExES Test 101 and TExES 102       (Bilingual Supplement)

Job Application Process

If you meet one of the criteria above, we invite you to follow the application process below.

  1. Please provide an updated resume requesting a specific position.
  2. Provide a cover letter specifically stating the type and subject of your certification, e.g. Standard Bilingual Generalist EC-4, Probationary Generalist EC-4.
  3. ACP candidates, indicate:
    - the name of the program
    - which TExES tests have been successfully completed

  5. Your resume will be reviewed and matched with current openings. If the principal considers you a viable candidate, you will be contacted for an interview.
  6. If the principal recommends you for employment, you will be asked to complete the Employment Packet.

Required Documents

When you sign your employment agreement, you must provide the following information to complete your application packet:

  1. Resume (clean copy)
  2. Original application and criminal background check forms for your personnel file
  3. Teaching and professional certificates OR
    Proof of enrollment in an accredited ACP program and any test results
  4. Official copy of college transcripts (translation service copies are accepted)
  5. Service records from prior schools/districts
  6. Valid I9 Id's as required on the form.
